In and around the turn of the century a sound in the D&B community was growing and nobody had heard anything like it before. From around 1997/98 to 2002 people like Ed Rush & Optical, Bad Company, Andy C (& the Ram Crew) & DJ Trace to name a few were pushing these really dark experimental sounds.
